Dear Colleagues and Friends:

It is 23 years ago that the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies was founded and today it has 27 member organizations covering the specialty of head and neck surgery and oncology from around the globe. This is the only international collaborative organization dealing with the specialty of Head and Neck Oncology. The Federation held its very successful quadrennial congresses in Mumbai (1998), Rio de Janeiro (2002) and Prague (2006). The Fourth World Congress of the Federation will be even a more successful and bigger congress than its predecessors.

The congress President, Dr. Kwang Hyun Kim, and his local organizing committee andprogram committee are doing an outstanding job in putting together a magnificent conference in beautiful Seoul in 2010. Seoul in the summer is a vibrant city full of vigorand exciting sights to visit. In addition to this, the cuisine of Korea will leave a taste in your mouth which will be unforgettable.

I want to extend to you my personal invitation to plan to attend this magnificent conference which will bring you up-to-date with scientific discoveries and progress in the field of Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology. The scientific richness of the conference and Korean hospitality will be an event to remember for years to come and I am sure you will not want to miss it.
